Privacy Policy

Information you provide

When you use the cropper, you may enter a background image URL or select a catalog item to load into the preview. We do not ask for or store Steam passwords, payment details, or private account credentials. Exported images are generated in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers.

Third-party services

To run the site, our servers and your browser may contact:

• Valve / Steam — Community Market catalog data, background images, and animated background videos from Steam CDNs.
• Steam Web API — asset metadata for animated backgrounds and app names (server-side only; API keys are not exposed in the browser).
• Image proxy — our server may fetch remote images so the cropper can read pixels for export when browser CORS would block direct access.

Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policies. We only send what is needed for the feature you use.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 on all pages to understand aggregate traffic — for example which pages are visited, approximate location (country/region), device and browser type, and referral source. This helps us improve the site. We do not publish our analytics property identifier in this policy.

Google may set cookies or use similar technologies and process data on servers in the United States and elsewhere. Google's use of data is described in their Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics in your browser via extensions, privacy settings, or Google's browser add-on.

We do not use Google Analytics to identify you personally or to read private Steam account data.

Server logs

Our hosting provider may log IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs, and error details for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. These logs are not used to build marketing profiles.

Cookies

The site may use essential cookies for basic operation. Google Analytics may use analytics cookies as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may still work, but analytics will not run if cookies are blocked.

Retention and your choices

Catalog browsing reads from our local database synced from public Steam Market data; we do not maintain a directory of Steam users. Cropper exports stay on your device unless you choose to save or share them. Analytics data is retained according to Google's settings for our property.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
