The service
We provide a free Steam profile background browser and cropper: browse animated and static backgrounds from the Community Market catalog, preview them on your profile layout, and export Artwork showcase slices. The service is provided "as is" for informational purposes only.
No affiliation
SteamBackgrounds.app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation or Steam. Steam and the Steam logo are trademarks of Valve Corporation. Third-party data may be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable.
No marketplace services
This site does not sell profile backgrounds, trading bots, account access, or in-game items. Prices, availability, and listing counts are based on public Steam Market data — not guarantees of what you will pay or find on Steam.
Your responsibilities
Do not use the site to harass others, scrape at abusive rates, or attempt to disrupt our servers or Steam's services. You are responsible for complying with Valve's Steam Subscriber Agreement and applicable laws.
Analytics and privacy
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate site usage. Our collection and use of information — including analytics — is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the site, you acknowledge that policy.
